Summary of the conductivity meter:

A conductivity meter, also known as a conductivity sensor or electrical conductance meter, is an instrument used to measure the electrical conductivity of a solution or a material. Conductivity is a measure of how easily a substance allows electric current
to flow through it. It is typically expressed in Siemens per meter (S/m) or microsiemens per centimeter (μS/cm) for aqueous solutions.

Conductivity meters work by applying a small electrical current to the sample and measuring the resulting voltage drop across it.
The device contains a source of current and two electrodes that are placed in the sample. As the current passes through the solution, ions in the solution move and create a conductive path. The more ions present, the higher the conductivity, and the greater the voltage difference measured between the electrodes.

These meters are commonly used in various applications, such as water quality testing (to monitor salt content, dissolved solids, and contamination), industrial processes (to control the purity of chemicals or fluids), and environmental monitoring (to assess soil or groundwater salinity). They are also used in research, agriculture, and food industries for quality control purposes.
